Position: Assistant Manager for Business Development


General Functions:

  • Identify market opportunities and distribution channels that will lead to achievement of targets;
  • To assist/head in the development of business relationship/partners hip with strategic partners. To evaluate business proposals and provide recommendations;
  • Develop proposal,product or service offering including the project management in coordination with other departments;
  • Develop negotiation strategies and positions by studying integration of new venture with company strategies and operations; examining risks and potentials;
  • To coordinate with Product Development (PD), management committee (mancom) members, product development committee (PDC) and relevant managers for project approval and implementation;
  • Continuous management/servicing of on-going projects; and
  • Assumes other activities and responsibilities from time to time, as directed. 

 

Qualifications:

  • With college diploma;
  • With graduate studies is an advantage;
  • Must have at least 7-10 years of work experience, preferably in an insurance company (non-life or life or HMO);
  • With critical thinking and business management skills, including writing, communication and interpersonal capability;
  • With business developmentand portfolio management experience;
  • Product development experience and end-to-endimplementation is an advantage; 
  • Maturity and capacity to multi task, having significant experience in dealing across all levels of an organization;
  • Capable to balance customer and management hat in making decision;
  • Responsive to delivering committed service plus extra mile to the client;
  • Proficient in MSPowerpoint, Excel and Adobe.
